Spring Has Sprung!!

Janell and I have been hiking again now that the rains have past - and Wow! Spring has arrived with a vengeance!

Everywhere you look flowers are opening - and more every day!

Daisies and lupine and carpet flower and wild onion and lots of stuff that we had no idea what it was! All of it so beautiful!

So come along on our walk in Wildwood park and see for yourselves!

We call this carpet flower..I'm in really close so you
can't tell how really teensy tiny this flower is!

The lichen is all over ther rocks here, which are a

combination of granite and volcanic. We walked

past one really obvious flow -very cool!

This is a wild onion!

So beautiful -and they are everywhere!

Here is a whole field of them...

This carpety like plant had tiny little tight flowers

all over it -very low and spreading

Neither of us had any idea what this was! Very brightly

varigated - don't touch! Ouch!

Ahhh...such pretty sights..we hated to

head for home!
